Description

[Las Vegas, NV: Horseshoe Club, ca. 1955]. 8vo. [16 pp (unpaginated)]. Printed in red, white & brown throughout. Colour-illustrated self-printed softcovers, NF copy. First edition of this scarce gambling guide for the famed Horseshoe Club in downtown Las Vegas purchased by Joseph Warlick Brown (1897-1959) in 1953 for $ 858,000 from Benny Binion, notorious crime syndicate member on his way to Leavenworth. Joe Brown continued to operate and own the club even when Binion was released from prison in 1957, but sold his interest just before he died in February, 1959.
