Los Angeles: NARA, 1963. [16p] staplebound wraps, 8.5x11 inches, covers mildly worn and spotted with soil, a pen squiggle. Also included is a group photo compliments of Dave Dixon of KATZ in St. Louis; unsure whether the photo is from the same year or the same event. (Dixon is seated just left of center, with lighter complexion). The convention brought together African American radio DJs from around the country. Includes black and white photos of national officers and West Coast chapter members, gospel artists, plus many ads (including "thank you" notes from Motown Records and others for playing their artists).

Los Angeles, 1963. Very good.. 16pp. Original printed wrappers, stapled. Light soiling to wrappers, minor edge wear. A rare souvenir program for the Sixth Annual Convention of the National Association of Radio Announcers, which took place August 22-25, 1963 at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. The event was hosted by the West Coast Chapter of the organization. The preponderance of the program is comprised of congratulatory messages and well wishes for a variety of record companies, record stores, local businesses, and some national businesses, some illustrated with photographic portraits of various artists and radio personalities. Among the record companies sponsoring ads are Motown, Vee Jay, Warner Brothers, Roulette, MGM, Specter, and others.
