Gollancz, London, 1959. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. 400 g; 224 pages, including and appendix in Spanish a poem el Padre que Intenta Casarse con su Hija. The plain printed dust jacket has a 1/2 inch tear at the bottom left of the spine and grubby marks otherwise, the top edge of the text block has been darkened by age and dust. Internally clean, and free of inscription apart from a single foxing spot at the lower right-hand corner of the 1st 5 leaves "and summing up? "Look here," said a jaunty little Australian whom Mr Ussher met in Seville, "if you come to Spain hoping to find chromium bath taps, motor roads, television, and trains arrive on the dot, -- well, you might as well have stayed at home.
