Micozzi, M.D., Ph.D., is adjunct professor of physiology and biophysics at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He edited the first U.S. alternative medicine textbook, Fundamentals of Complementary & Alternative Medicine. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland, and Rockport, Massachusetts.
