Written by John Colquhoun, a Scottish sportsman and sportswriter. Publisher's advertisements to the rear. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities and small marks to the boards. Minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot or handling mark. The odd pencil annotation. A tear to the half-title. Booth Bird Museum Brighton bookplate to the front pastedown with their ink stamp to the front endpaper and the odd page. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
