London; Thornton Butterworth, 1925., 1925. Hard Cover. FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. 270. 9 illustrations by the Author including frontispiece and map. Publishers' maroon reeded cloth with gilt titles to spine and upper board and blind fillet to boards. Spine rubbed at tips and lightly sunned. Endpapers toned; scattered light foxing, a little heavier to early and late leaves; tidy gift inscription to ffep, and ink stain to verso title page. A Very Good copy. Sporting reminiscences by the Norwegian polymath (1861-1930), whose numerous achievements in the fields of exploration, science and diplomacy brought him worldwide fame. The sports covered include ski-ing, mountaineering and shooting.
