(iv,) 426 pp, followed by 2 pp undated ads. Bookplate of Bayard Tuckerman, Jr. on front pastedown. Clipping from a previous antiquarian book catalog describing this copy pasted to a blank leaf before title page. This books collects the songs used in horse racing, hunting, fishing, archery, hawking , cricket and a variety of other pursuits along with commentaries putting them in context. This copy belonged to Bayard Tuckerman, Jr. , who was a horsebreeder, owner, rider and one of the founders of Suffolk Downs. He was also a well-known breeder whippets.
