London: Hutchinson, 1957. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First UK Edition. INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR TO HER SECRETARY. Publisher's blue boards with gilt lettering to the spine. A near fine bright and clean copy (offsetting to both sets of end-papers) in like dustwrapper with just a touch of rubbing at the tip and tail of the spine. Inscribed by the Author to her Secretary: "To Eileen Savery/ with gratitude for all her/ help & with so much love/ Barbara McCorquodale/ 1956". Photographs/scans available upon request.
