About This Item
New York: Farrar Straus and Company. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. 1959. BCE. Hardcover. Blue boards with very lightly rubbed ends and bumped corner tips. The dust jacket's spine is toned, chipped on one corner; corners worn and a short closed tear. Now in an archival clear cover. Keyes was a prolific and popular author for good reason. Here is one of her 'romantic mysteries. Story: Allan Lambert recently inherited a lot of money and a big mansion along with the penalties and problems. When he gets a Spanish Prisoner letters (a scam) instead of laughing it off or reporting it to the Postal authorities, he buys a station wagon and ships it to Spain where the adventure begins. A fun book, not considered one of Keyes best works but well written, entertaining and very nice condition. ; 8vo .
