Slightly tanned pages with very faint pencilled lettering at top margin identifying sections of book. Cloth over boards is clean with bright gilt lettering at spine. DJ has darkening at spine, overall shelf wear, wear at top of spine area, closed tear with creasing at top front. ; Demonstrates how the human idea of God developed from prehistoric antiquity to the time of Christ, and places this development in historic context. Author William F. Albright (1891-1971) was an American archaeologist and biblical scholar. ; 9.25" tall; 363 pages.
