About This Item
George G. Harrap, 1926. 4th edition. Hardcover. VG++/VG++. 4th Edition. 15.4 x 20.3cm khaki pictorial cloth with red, purple and blue stamped illustration and titles to the front and spine. Uncut edges, ix, 294pp with 8 full page colour plates. Original pictorial dust jacket echoing covers. The book has been very well protected by its dust jacket and the boards are clean and bright with just a hint of shelfwear. The binding is firm and square. Internally, there is a neat Christmas gift inscription to the front free endpaper and only the very occasional very faint mark. The dust jacket is in excellent condition considering its age with a little chipping to the head of the spine extending to 0.5 cm on the joints and loss of 1.3 x 0.3cm on the image on the spine. The jacket is now protected in a clear removable cover (not shown). A really nice copy of this beautifully illustrated book with its scarce dust jacket. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
