Chocolate brown cloth with gilt spine lettering, James Payn frontis portrait with protective tissue, 184 pages. The book is in very good condition with very mildly rubbed spine ends and corners, sound text block, good hinges, clean pages with no names or other markings. Contents: The Bird on Its Journey by Beatrice Harraden; Koosje, A Study of Dutch Life by John Strange Winter; A Dog of Flanders by Ouida; Markeim by R. L. Stevenson; and Queen Tita's Wager by William Black. A very well kept copy.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
