Includes: "The Strange Days That Came to Jimmie Friday," "Joshua Goodenough's Old Letter," and "Chasing a Major-General." With two black & white illustrations by the author. An entry in publisher's Little Books by Famous Writers series. --- In full blue cloth-covered boards with decorations and titling in silver to covers & spine and with dark topstain. Author's name is misspelled "Frederick" on front and back covers. Volume lacks a dust jacket. --- A well-preserved copy, tightly-bound and sturdy, though with florid gift inscription to front free endpaper.; 16mo - 6 to 7 in. tall; (6), 98, (1, ads) pages .
