[boston]: Houghton Mifflin. Fair with no dust jacket. [1949]. First Edition. Hardcover. KB 15. 248 pp. Title page has been removed, but this appears to be the Boston 1949 first edition. Brownish orange cloth with blue antlers to front, blue spine title. Deckle rough cut edges. Signs of light humidity staining to front cover bottom, all extremities slightly rubbed and worn, interior clean and unmarked. From a collection of books belonging to the 17th prime minister of Canada, John Turner, inscribed on the verso of the half title "to John from David." Interior is otherwise clean and nice. Better condition than it sounds, nice association copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 248 pages; Signed by Author .
