Little ,Brown, 1943-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Signed. Advance Review copy with slip laid in. Inscribed, SIGNED, and dated (may 26th, 1943) by James Hilton on the front endpaper. Also laid in is a free leaf, apparently the front free endpaper of another book, which is SIGNED by both James Hilton and Comdr. C. M. Wassel. The volume is edge rubbed, sunned along the top edge, and has a hint of a slant. The edge rubbed, price clipped dust jacket, protected in a sleeve, is chipped on the spine ends and corners, and is abraded on the joints, front panel, and front flap edge.
