Bound in blue cloth, with unclipped dw, plates displaying 33 acrylic paintings and one water colour, all by Robert Guy, together with many photographs and line drawings. An interesting chapter on the birth of skiing in Scandinavia even shows skis in cave paintings and ski bog artefacts dating back to 2500 BC. The distribution of world skiing is shown on a map and 13 keys sites are identified, Later chapters examine many of these sites with illustrations of the shiing each has available, 96 large format pages.
