New York: Simon and Schuster, (1979).. (1979).. Good. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY ALAN SILLITOE - Octavo, cloth-backed boards in a dust wrapper. The binding is very slightly bumped. There are some tiny gray marks to the front panel of the dust wrapper. 285 pages. The top & bottom edges of the book & the fore-edge are foxed with tiny marks to the front edges of a few pages. There is a small stain on the flyleaf. Good in a very good dust wrapper. <p>First American edition.<p>Inscribed by Alan Sillitoe on the title page. Additionally inscribed and signed by him on the front endpaper: "For Ronny and Sam / Love from / Alan / London / 9th Oct. 1980".
