Description

New York: The Museum of Modern Art, 1970. Second printing. Hardcover. The now classic book of 34 photographs of prostitutes from New Orleans' Red-Light District. Edited by John Szarkowski. Features a preface by photographer Lee Friedlander who also was the printer of these images. A clean near fine copy in cloth boards with a small former owner signature ot the front free endpaper and in a very good dust jacket with a chip to the base of the front panel and some edge tears and other wear. Despite the litany of flaws this is still a solid copy of a terrific book.
