Boston: L.C. Page & Company, 1953. FIRST EDITION, first printing. This is the true first edition from the original publisher (not the Grosset & Dunlap reprint). Full light blue cloth with gilt lettering on the spine, light wear to the extremities, full color frontispiece, not price clipped, jacet has modest wear with an inch closed tear at the top of the front panel and a half inch peint tear at the bottom of the spine. Spine slightly darkened from handling. No previous owner's names, not exlibrary. Overall an EXCELLENT book in a VERY GOOD brodart protected dust jacket. A good gift.. First Edition. Full Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
