(lavender decorated boards, in dust jacket) [book is a bit shelfworn on bottom edge (slight exposure of boards at lower tips), with a little fading at spine ends (matching jacket paper loss); jacket edgeworn especially along flap-folds, spine moderately faded ("tennessee williams" in gold lettering still readable), paper loss at both ends of spine (about 1-1/4" at top, 1/2" at bottom, the former also extending diagonally into the upper right corner of the rear panel), small tears and minor paper loss at a couple of corners, tiny chip at bottom of front panel; the front panel, unfortunately, has age-tanned to the extent that the once white-on-lavender letter no longer stands out]. Not the prettiest copy you'll ever see of the first edition (all points checked) of Williams's breakthrough play, but bargain-priced to reflect its various depredations. The original $2.75 price is present on the front jacket flap. .
