The first edition, first impressions of these two works in the publisher's original cloth bindings, with the original unclipped dust wrappers. The third and fourth novels of Elleston Trevor's series of Cold War thrillers, following English secret agent 'Quiller', written under the pseudonym Adam Hall. A solitary, highly capable operative who works for a British government organization referred to only as 'The Bureau', Quiller narrates his adventures in first person, addressing the reader in an informal tone as he details scenes of hand-to-hand contact and surveillance operations. In The Striker Portfolio, Quiller solves the problem of why Striker air craft have inexplicably crashed. The Warsaw Document follows Quiller as he is sent to Warsaw to prevent Cold War escalation. In the publisher's original cloth bindings, with the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, cloth is in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. The odd spot to the fore edge of The Warsaw Document, not affecting the pages. Dust wrappers are bright and smart, with just a touch of sunning to the spine of The Striker Portfolio dust wrapper.
