New York: Pantheon Books, 1979. Unpaginated, illustrated throughout with photos, notes, maps. Prev owner's signature with a date by the upper edge of the front flyleaf. Black cloth boards, gilt, in heavily edge-worn dust-jacket which has tears with a some loss from its upper edge. The Report, which looks like a family album, consists of three parts: a descriptive narrative introduction; daily communiques on the progress of the 'operation'; and a series of photographs. After the liquidation of the Ghetto, Krueger expressed a wish that a complete set of the communiques be sent to Himmler as a momento. That is how this album was created.. First American Edition.
