No dustwrapper, ex Tropical Institute Library copy with ink stamps for same and for ''African Tropical Services'' inside front board, on f/ep, half-title, title page and rev and on preface page. Some shelf wear to spine ends and corners of mustard coloured cloth-covered boards, spine a bit discoloured but black and red titles and gilt library number are all still clear. Otherwise a good tight copy of this hard-cover book dealing with the cotton fibre: its botany, chemistry and in the textile industry (strength of different types, dyeing, etc.). 470pp, colour frontispiece, 79 b&w illustrations.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Ex-Library.
