From the rear cover

"Scarborough. Sex everyday and twice on Sundays at the Seatos guesthouse. Ken Dodd and Orville the Duck slept here. Landlady Val was a bit of a goer in her youth. Her family is very much like her guesthouse - in a state of disrepair - and the arrival of a winter visitor, the enigmatic Mr Wilson, brings a sexual charge that electrifies the household and threatens to tip it over the edge."--BOOK JACKET.
