Supersenses by Panati, Charles - 1974: Our Potential for Parasensory Experience

Former Newsweek science editor Panati uses laboratory approaches to monitor heart rate, skin conductivity and brain wave patterns to search out our capacity for parasensory activity. He asks under what conditions can these talents be awoken, and can it so be done for all of us. An unusual copy for two reasons: first, the book includes an original 'Review Copy' card insert, a great piece of ephemera, noting the anticipated publication date of 'October 25, 1974'. Secondly, the book is from the collection of John L Randall, well known writer on the paranormal and former member of the council of the Society for Psychical Research. His ex libris plate is neatly pasted in the pastedown and mostly hidden under the DJ wrap. Probably Randall is the original reviewer. A really excellent copy. Pages are exceptionally clean, bright and unmarked. Cloth boards are tight and clean. DJ is unclipped and unmarked, just minor shelf wear at edges. Review card and ex libris note as mentioned above.
