About This Item

Paris: Stock / Opera Mundi, 1976. Wraps. Very good. Inscribed by Fania Fénelon on the dedication page. The French musician's acclaimed memoir about survival in the Women's Orchestra of Auschwitz during the Holocaust, based on a diary she kept at the concentration camps. Fénelon's account served as the basis for the television film Praying for Time (1980) starring Vanessa Redgrave. Octavo: [402] p. Original printed paper wrappers. A bit of minor toning and wear along the extremities, with some mild creasing to the spine; else very good.
