Clean hardback tightly bound in half leather with title in gilt on red background, 5 raised bands, gilt decoration, leather worn at corners and spine ends. Has been rebound probably early in 20th century by name and date on front endpaper, title page and final contents page have been reinforced, name and date on title page, also name and date on title page verso, visible through reinforcing. 984 pages in total. No map or frontispiece .
