Following up on their survey of the western and central areas of the Tabin Wildlife Reserve in 1998, the joint Danish-Malaysian team here describe the results of their studies in the eastern area of the reserve. The area is noted for its limestone outcrops from the late Miocene age. In the course of the survey the team discovered more than 30 caves which appeared to have been used in the past.
