No bumps, or rubs, minimal shelf wear to edges and corners. Spine not split or torn. VG+* Jacket condition: Colour illustrated paper jacket with black title to spine and face. Somewhat grubby with some marks, particularly at rear & with slight wear to edges and at head of spine. VG* Contents condition: PRIVATE COPY NOT EX-LIBRARY. Coloured illustration to end papers showing a garland of Potter animals. Clean, crisp tight & bright with no reading wear. No marks to text, very slight age to top & fore-edge, otherwise no visible faults. FINE.* Illustrations: Colour illustrations throughout in irregular frames.* Pages: 59 pp. text.* Description: Potter indicated that the tale was a revision of the cautionary story of "Little Red Riding Hood." Jemima is an Aylesbury duck and regularly has her eggs ?confiscated? by the farmer?s wife. Whilst trying to find a safe place to lay, she falls into the clutches of a suave fox who plans to put her in the pot. Kep, a collie on the farm, discovers Jemima's whereabouts and rescues her just in time.
