London: Ward, Lock 340 pp + 4 pp of publisher's advertisements, 8 3/8" H. No date. Green cloth with black lettering/decoration on spine, black lettering/borders and colour pastedown on front board. Pictorial endpapers, 48 colour plates (including frontispiece) - all present. Contents: Introduction; Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves; Sindbad the Sailor; Aladdin: or the Wonderful Lamp; The Sleeper Awakened; The Enchanted Horse; The Talkative Barber. Previous owner's bookplate in the corner of the front free endpaper, two places where there is a slight separation between the page gatherings but still holding firmly in the binding, small edge tear archivally taped at the top of one of the advertisement pages, very light to light browning in the margins of the pages, heavy browning to the edges of the text block with some small light stains on the top and light shelf wear on the bottom, slight lean to the spine, moderate edge rubbing, wrinkling to the top and bottom of the spine with a small tear at top, spine colour is lightly faded with some light rubbing and it is also browning..
