First trade edition. 4to, pp318 plus 12 full colour illustrations with tissue guards and numerous b/w illustrations throughout text by Arthur Rackham. Hardcover with dust jacket. DJ in protective sleeve in fair condition with pieces missing from top and bottom of spine and edges. Original publishers black cloth binding with gilt lettering and decoration to spine and skeleton design to front board. Inside decorative end papers designed by Rackham. All pages with marbled top edge in very good/near fine condition.
