Michael Taft is Head of the Archive of Folk Culture at the American Folklife Center, Library of Congress. He has authored, co-authored or edited thirteen books. In addition, he has published over 125 articles and reviews, and has given over 100 papers, workshops, and other presentations. He lives in Silver Springs, MD.
