Illustrated softcover, with minor shelf wear, some rubbing at edges but overall very nice. Small bookseller? sticker to first blank. Book is uncut, so text leaves are fine, other than some age toning. Rare copy. In protective mylar. First published with Monteiro Lobatos translation in Brazil in 1935, with 17,000 copies. The second edition in 1947 was limited to 10,000 copies. [See Wiki].
