Covers 'mounted on linen-untearable'; (this book also printed on paper covers, sewed). Spine rubbed to white and edges worn with gentle creases to corners. Interior unmarked, though one or two pages bear light thumbprints, and the first page bottom corner is lightly soiled. Inside covers are printed in B&W with song verses; back inside board has circular tan mark, not affecting text. This is not a replica or print on demand. Quarto. 9 5/8 x 11 3/8 ins. BOOK INFO: Undated; WorldCat.org states between 1875 and 1890, and designates lithographer Kronheim and author W. J. Wiegand. Printed by J. M. Kronheim, London, with #57 printed in a small circle on the front cover. Back cover includes advertisement for publisher's Playtime Toy Books. With fine color cartoon illustrations and musical scores on each page. An interesting piece of history.
