About This Item
New York: Scribner & Sons, 1917. Second Edition of this gripping narrative of winter travel through Alaska by the "Archdeacon of the Yukon," author of The Ascent of Denali. In green cloth with gilt writing on spine, binding shows some wear and rubbing on spine, especially at top and bottom of spine, but really rather clean and solid. Inside pages very clean, tight, and bright, with wonderful photographs, including frontispiece covered in tissue, a photo of the author in fur hat and gloves. Also a fold-out map, fully intact. Perfect for a hot summer's day.. Cloth. Good/None. 8vo.
