About This Item
Mexico City: Joaquin Mortiz, 1975. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Very Good. Octavo. 6 x 8.75 in. 783 pp. Very good in the original red cloth boards with a lean vertical lean to the binding, and a good illustrated dust jacket that has minor chipping along the upper spine and two chips to the back flap. The interior pages have a few stray pencil lines, but are otherwise clean and free of foxing. Text in the original Spanish. The novel received the Xavier Villaurrutia Award in 1976 and the Rómulo Gallegos Prize in 1977.
