About This Item
New York: Horizon Press, 1964. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. The first novel by Sims, who was a journalist and in British Intelligence in World War II before finding his place as a dealer in rare books and manuscripts in London, features Robert Seldon, an English bookseller who has been offered a large sum of money to find the correspondence of an eccentric writer with unusual sexual tastes. Seldon's search finds a strange variety of people and a considerable amount of danger. Top edge of text block shows some foxing, o/w text and boards are clean and unmarked, tight and square. The dustjacket shows a touch of edgewear, else Fine; no tears, no creasing or chipping, not price-clipped. A collectable copy of this highly-praised bibliomystery.
