About the author

Nicholas Fotion is Professor of Philosophy at Emory University, USA. He has published widely on the ethics of military action. He is also author of John Searle in Acumen's Philosophy Now series. Boris Kashnikov was a captain in the Russian Military and then Chair of the Humanities and Law department at the Moscow Institute of Internal Affairs. He is a professor at the Moscow Higher School of Economics. Joanne K. Lekea has a PhD in Military Ethics. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Athens.
