The Testimony of the Suns by George Sterling, A M Robertson, 1907, third edition, 142 pages. Limited to 1000 copies. Sterling was the most celebrated Californian poet of his era and was mentored by Jack London and Ambrose Bierce. He in turn mentored a youthful Clark Ashton Smith, who had a similar style and inclination. Third edition was the first revised edition. SIGNED and inscribed by Sterling on the first page. Binding is square and sound; colors bright and clean. Silver inlay on cover and spine still bright. Very sharp copy enclosed in a tenzacover book protector (as shown)
