Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Occasional thumb-marking present. Cracking to front hinge with exposed binding, causing board to be slightly loose. Light scuffing to text-block edges. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Mild sunning to spine and edges. Scuffing and light marking overall. Book has a slight forward lean.

Fairly bright pages with light tanning and foxing to endpapers and page edges. Former owner's name on front endpaper. Occasional finger marking throughout, with rubbing and a few small nicks to text block edges. Some minor dog-eared corners. Marginalia to paste-down. Cracked guttering with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Moderate tanning along spine and board edges. Forward leaning and bowed. Mild rub wear to surfaces and edges with crushing to spine ends and bumps to corners. Faintly mottled with mould.
