San Angelo, TX: Fort Concho Museum Press, 1986. First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good +. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 1st Ed., 1st Ptg. Six time winner of the Spur Award from the Western Writers of America, and two time winner of the Western Heritage Award for "The Good Old Boys" and "The Time It Never Rained". These are his short stories and a novelette published by the Fort Concho Museum Press in Kelton's home town of San Angelo, TX. Signed by Kelton on front free end paper and inscribed to previous owners, whose label is on front paste-down page. Cloth boards are clean, book is tight and crisp. Dust jacket has price intact. Light corner and edge wear with slight rubbing on flap folds. Now in protective cover.
