Thomas Hobbes was perhaps the most notable 17th-century English philosopher who conducted social studies and published historical theories on politics, physics, and law. While works such as 'Leviathan' and 'De Cive' were his most popular books, works such as 'De Homine' and 'De Corpore' proved to be highly important.

This exceptional 1668 first Latin edition printing of the works of Hobbes features all expected eight parts.

· 'De Corpore'

o A work on natural philosophy devoted to matters of origins and foundations of ideas. Hobbes focuses on principles of logic, scientific concepts, and geometry.

o A collection of Hobbes' theories on topics that were fully covered in 'Leviathan', mathematics, and physics

'Leviathan', Hobbes' most important and famous work, was composed in four parts: 1) nature of man and natural laws, 2) nature of the commonwealth and sovereign powers, 3) Christianity and religion, and 4) the kingdom of darkness. Each of these parts contains controversial and uncommon opinions. In fact, some scholars claim that the contents of 'Leviathan' directly influenced the feuds that began the English Civil War! (Wright 175).

'Printing and the Mind of Man' even notes that 'Leviathan' is the result of unrest and troubled times in England.

It is of the most extreme rarity to find all eight parts of the 'Opera Omnia' together – the works were originally printed and sold separately as individual pieces.

Walter de Henley was a 13th-century French agriculturalist primarily remembered for his treatise on husbandry. In fact, this book is considered to be
"undoubtedly the most original contribution of the Middle Ages to scientific agriculture". (Power).
Henley provided some of the earliest French instructions on farm management and upkeep the upkeep of a manor.

In 1589, an English edition of Henley's "Husbandry" was translated by Jacuqes Bellot and published by Wolfe under the title "The Booke of Thrift".

It is incredibly rare and valuable. In fact, there is only one known auction record of this work sold in recent history where it sold for more than $7,000
