Lavishly illustrated with over 150 color and b/w drawings and photographs. States "manufactured in Israel by Otpaz Ltd. P. O. B. 6048 Tel-Aviv, Israel". No date stated, but appears to be from 1971/72, according to The Library of Congress. Book shows sign of loving wear. Some of the chapters are: Early Thoroughbred Origins; Racing in the Colonies; Steeplechasing; Noted English Riders; The Future of Racing. Oversized, 3.5#. ; B & W and Color; 8 1/2 x 11; 181 pages; Cover has rubbing, shelf wear, bumping. DJ has scuffing/rubbing, shelf wear, little nicks around the edges, 1 1/4" closed tear at bottom of front, 1/2" closed tear at top. .
