Jill Paton Walsh completed it "to widespread praise." This book is from the library of noted Sayers scholar Stephen P. Clarke, though there are no markings in the book to indicate this. Second printing of first American edition. Black cloth boards with gilt text on the spine. 312 pp. Dust wrapper is gold and black. Book is like new. Shelley and Son Books specializes in C.S.
