The book is tightly bound, underlying red cloth boards are faded, the pages are rough-cut and browned, top edge is greyed. The dust jacket is worn to the extremities with open tears at the spine ends and corners, spine is faded, taped to the rear. Foxing on the endpapers, owners signature on the title page, sporadic foxing in the text block. [ref: 82833 ] ; Memories of 50 years at the Haymarket Theatre. Foreword by Marie Tempest, with 31 illustrations. .
