Fifty illustrations (black and white) including 4 chromolithographic plates in color. Two-color illustrated title page. No previous ownership marks. Hinges strong. Boards soiled, rubbed, light skew, rubbing to top and bottom of spine. An interesting early Alice. Very good..
Synopsis
Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (1871) is a work of children's literature by Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson), generally categorized as literary nonsense. It is the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865).
