Pp. 384, frontispiece with tissue guard, plus 7 plates, folding tinted map; cr. 8vo; school prize binding in full dark red calf, spine decorated in gilt compartments between raised bands, with gilt lettered light brown leather title label, the boards with decorative gilt border and edges, crest & motto of Sydney Gramma School in gilt at centre of upper board; marbled edges and matching endpapers; school prize bookplate (dated 1913) and later bookseller's sticker on upper pastedown, small surface graze near top fore-corner of upper free endpaper, with commercial bookplate on verso of same, bookseller's ink stamp partly erased from the blank preliminary leaf, a little light foxing; Blackie and Son Limited, London, 1912.
