About This Item
Japan, 1992. Cloth. Fine/Fine. INSCRIBED BY KENZABURO OE TO JEAN STEIN (AUTHOR OF "EDIE: AN AMERICAN GIRL") IN YEAR-OF-PUBLICATION. An all-but-pristine copy to boot of the genuine 1992 1st edition, published in its native Japanese. Clean and Fine in a crisp, Fine dustjacket AND a Near Fine example of the publisher's printed obi (wraparound band) hugging the dustjacket. A nice example from the canon of this future Nobel Prize winner (1994) and very uncommon as such.
