About This Item
London: Cassell & Company, Limited, 1933. Cloth. Very Good. 7.5" by 5". None. A very scarce autobiographical pacifist creed from Margaret Storm Jameson. Fourth impression, June 1933. Originally published April 1933. Very scarce work. An autobiographical pacifist creed of committed socialism and feminism, with commentary on many social and political issues of the time. Written by Margaret Ethel Storm Jameson, an English journalist and author who fought for peace through her fiction writing in the 1920s and as a member of the Women"s International League. Often in high demand as a literary critic and commentator on social and political issues. Her commitment to peace was unwavering and she joined the Peace Pledge Union as a founding member in 1934. She fought fascism tenaciously in her writing and on the streets. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor bumping and light wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. Very Good
