All of the incidents described in the book occurred. All of the outcomes are true. Born in 1934 they were the first surviving quintuplets and were the rage of much of the world, so much so they were taken from their parents and raised by the state in a specially built hospital and overseen by the obsessive pediatrician Dr. Dafoe. A story of well-meaning that turned into a disaster. A clean very presentable copy.
